THE CAUCASIAN CHALK CIRCLE
MONTANA TOUR
written by Bertolt Brecht
created by the company
directed by Connor Berkompas
premiered at TINWORKS ART in Bozeman, MT
In the outbreak of war,
a mother abandons her child.
Grusha, a kitchen maid, rescues him
and embarks on a perilous journey.
Terrible is the temptation to be good...
Brecht’s intensely political and deeply human story asks, "How do we decide who is best fit to care for our communities?"
Nervous Theatre redirects this question to our own community in a playful, bold, and immersive new production where four performers play over thirty characters.
